The idea to name our design firm Red Bananas originated from the unique fruit native to the southern part of Travancore (Trivandrum and its suburbs). We wanted a name that would reflect our different approach to concept visualization and graphic design while also maintaining a connection to India. Red Bananas are only grown in a few places around the world and even in India are difficult to find outside of Travancore. The fruit's rarity, striking visual appearance, special taste, and ties to Kerala made us think of adopting the name ‘Red Bananas’ for our carefully selected team of talented designers.
